Applications for Calouste Gulbenkian Prize in the Human Rights Category
Application procedure for Calouste Gulbenkian Prize in the Human Rights Category is open until 30 April.
Individuals or non-profit private legal entities which have distinguished themselves internationally in the defense and promotion of Human Rights can apply.
Prizes are awarded annually and are distributed as follows: Calouste Gulbenkian Prize, in the Human Rights category, which in 2019 is dedicated to strengthening democracy in the digital era; and the Gulbenkian Prizes, in the Cohesion, Knowledge and Sustainability categories.
The Calouste Gulbenkian Prize in the Human Rights category is worth 100 thousand Euros, and the Gulbenkian Prizes in the Cohesion, Knowledge and Sustainability categories are worth 50 thousand Euros each.
